Always hope

Always hope

I went to the doctor today for a follow up appointment after my ultrasound and bloods.
The doctors words exactly were - "your ovaries look polycystic and you have raised testosterone levels" which I interpreted as not too bad. I could just be fooling myself of course......

So PCOS confirmed, I then asked what my options are. Well..... I don't really have any.  As I have a 4 year old, my body is capable of ovulating occasionally so I am not a priority.  Fertility treatments such as medications like Clomid MAY be made available to me in 2 years if the doctor is willing to refer me.

So for now, our only options of conceiving is for me to lose weight and get regular exercise, which I know should be done anyway.

I just hope my body starts ovulating... well I hope it ovulates at least once and we make a beautiful healthy baby.....

The new me starts here :)
